You can make mental health matter. There are many ways you can help CMHA promote mental wellness for all and support the resiliency and recovery of those experiencing mental illness.
Donate
Your gift supports the Canadian Mental Health Association in its mission to promote mental health and help those with mental illnesses, while keeping our costs low.
Host a Fundraiser
Every year, one in five Canadians experience mental health issues or addictions. When you organize and host a fundraising event, you’re helping raise awareness of mental health in your community and helping CMHA BC support more people to find the help they need.
Volunteer
CMHA BC is a volunteer-driven organization that depends on volunteers like you to help us to develop our vision and provide services.
Take Action
Help CMHA BC spark a conversation about the need to intervene early to prevent mental illness, including addictions.
Careers
CMHA is a great place to work! We have a positive and fair workplace culture, where staff are provided with opportunities for learning and advancement.
Dr. Nancy Hall Speaking Up Speaking Out Fund
Dr. Nancy Hall brought a strong voice to CMHA BC by speaking out on issues, assisting with policy papers, presenting at inquiries and being available as a trusted advisor. This endowment fund is named in her honour.
Dr. Jean Moore Endowment Fund in Child and Youth Mental Health
The Dr. Jean Moore Endowment Fund in Child and Youth Mental Health is named to reflect Dr. Moore’s passion and influence. The purpose of the fund is to enhance, through innovation, the lives of children and youth living with or at risk for mental illness.
