The Total Push-Up Challenge is back!

The Total Push-Up Challenge (TPUC) is a global fitness and mental health awareness movement, with CMHAs across Canada—and many individuals and teams right here in the South Cariboo—taking part.

From February 5–27, participants aim to complete 2,000 push-ups over three weeks, symbolizing the approximately 2,000 people who die by suicide every day worldwide. Push-ups can be completed at your own pace and tracked using the TPUC app, making the challenge flexible, inclusive, and accessible to everyone.

The challenge encourages physical activity, connection, and open conversations about mental health, while also helping to reduce stigma. Participants and supporters can also donate directly through the TPUC webpage, with funds supporting CMHA South Cariboo programs and services.

Whether you’re joining as an individual, a team, or a community supporter, every push-up helps raise awareness and show that mental health matters.
